Robert Vaux vs Euan Morgans

Boxing Daily Report from the Numb Nation promoted show at James Speir Gym, New Haven,  taking place on 09/02/2039:

Clearly Numb Nation have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Connecticut Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Vaux (3 - 14 - 4) who hails from Waterbury, USA and Euan Morgans(13 - 10) from New Haven, USA.  Vaux weighed in at 241 pounds and 4 ounces, while Morgans weighed in at 217 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Peter Liddell, and the three ringside judges are Ian Parry, Andy Swaney and Davie Maines.  

Round 1: 

Vaux is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand left.  
Morgans gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Morgans lands a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Morgans.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Vaux attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Morgans's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Morgans steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Vaux steps away from his opponent and lands a jab.  
Morgans waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Vaux hits home with a right hook.  
Morgans drives a right uppercut into Vaux's body.  
Morgans lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Morgans digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Vaux steps inside.  Morgans digs in a right hook to Vaux's body.  
Vaux is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Vaux throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Morgans lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Vaux wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Morgans.  That has caused a slight cut above the right eye.  .
