Carlos Mestas vs Esteban Villarruel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Guayas promoted show at Guayaquil Huerta, Guayaquil,  taking place on 11/02/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Carlos Mestas (26 - 6(2)) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Esteban Villarruel(16(10) - 3(1)) from Cuenco, Ecuador.  Mestas weighed in at 122 pounds and 10 ounces, while Villarruel weighed in at 122 pounds.    As Mestas came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Pedro Siman, and the three ringside judges are Juan Corzo, Joaquin Mejia and Sagaz Ancheta.
