Paul Profit vs Gareth Finnie

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Edwards Hall, Miami,  taking place on 05/03/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Profit (6(4) - 0) who hails from Chula Vista, USA and Gareth Finnie(6 - 11 - 2) from Baton Rouge, USA.  Both Profit and Finnie weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Villalta, and the three ringside judges are Fanuco Villarrubia, Cody Bremner and Chris Villalta.  

Round 1: 

Profit gets on the inside.  Profit pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Profit lands a jab.  Profit tries to land a jab, but Finnie blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Profit steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Profit lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Profit cuts off the ring, trapping Finnie in the blue corner.  Profit lands a sharp right uppercut.  Profit holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Profit pushes his forearm into Finnie's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Profit tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Profit pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Finnie tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Profit is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a stiff jab.  
Profit tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Profit closes the distance.  Profit pivots from in front of his opponent.  Profit lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Profit clinches his opponent.  Profit leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Profit pushes his forearm into Finnie's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Profit.  
Finnie walks Profit into the corner.  Profit is on target with a jab.  
Finnie switches the action to the outside.  Profit finds the target with a jab.  
Finnie tries to step out of his opponents range.  Profit lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Profit gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Profit drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Finnie tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Profit closes the distance.  Profit pivots to the side of his opponent.  Profit is on target with a left uppercut.  Profit ties up his opponent.  Profit uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Finnie's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Profit about fouling.  
Profit lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Profit manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Profit drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  
Profit lands a spiteful jab.  
Profit switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Finnie's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Finnie's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Finnie's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Profit gets on the inside.  Profit pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
Profit pivots from in front of his opponent and lands with a solid jab.  
Profit tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Profit tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Profit gets on the inside.  Finnie throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Profit clinches his opponent.  Profit is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Profit hits home with a right hook.  Profit holds on to his opponent.  Profit leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Finnie pushes his forearm into Profit's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Profit steps inside.  Profit is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Profit lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES FINNIE!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Finnie cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Profit!
