Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-South Cotabato promoted show at General Santos Bacaycay, General Santos,  taking place on 08/02/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines-South Cotabato Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Catacataca (8 - 12(1) - 4) who hails from General Santos, Philippines and Fraser Babao(5 - 11(1) - 5) from General Santos, Philippines.  Both Catacataca and Babao weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jaguar Alatorre, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Paulino, Cipriano Ouano and Orlando Bacallao.

Babao steps inside.  As Catacataca tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Babao dabs at his face checking for damage.  Babao has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Babao closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Catacataca steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Catacataca attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Babao time to recover.  
Catacataca connects with a cross.
