Ponce Alcoser vs Gervasio Barcenas

Boxing Daily Report from the Chigaga Promotions promoted show at Santa Cruz de la Sie Delfin, Santa Cruz de la Sierra,  taking place on 16/02/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bolivia-Santa Cruz Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ponce Alcoser (3 - 4 - 1) who hails from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and Gervasio Barcenas(1 - 3(3) - 1) from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Alcoser weighed in at 199 pounds And 4 ounces, while Barcenas weighed in at 199 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Fama, and the three ringside judges are Agapetus Angeles, Juan Barriga and Luis Valderrama.

Barcenas pivots from in front of his opponent.  Alcoser finds the target with a jab.

Alcoser gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Barcenas slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Barcenas lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Barcenas pivots to the side of his opponent.  Alcoser hits home with a right uppercut.  
Barcenas throws a left hook, but Alcoser clinches his opponent.  Barcenas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Barcenas is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.

Alcoser walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Alcoser pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Barcenas lands a jab.  
Alcoser advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut to Barcenas's liver.  
Alcoser gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Alcoser dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Barcenas throws a left uppercut, but Alcoser ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Alcoser's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Barcenas pivots from in front of his opponent.  Alcoser lands a right hook.
