Russel Lucier vs Holland Gourcuff

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Quebec promoted show at Laval Papineau, Laval,  taking place on 16/02/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Russel Lucier (12 - 21(3) - 3) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Holland Gourcuff(20 - 6) from Gaineau, Canada.  Lucier weighed in at 126 pounds, while Gourcuff weighed in at 126 pounds And 9 ounces.    As Gourcuff came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Granger Hinault, and the three ringside judges are Laurent Marceau, Mark Mostyn and Carvell Brame.

Gourcuff voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Lucier steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
