Montenegro Cepero vs Dario Tio

Boxing Daily Report from the Boomer Promotions promoted show at Havana Ballon, Havana,  taking place on 17/02/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montenegro Cepero (16 - 21(12) - 3) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Dario Tio(31(7) - 4(2)) from Havana, Cuba.  Cepero weighed in at 118 pounds and 10 ounces, while Tio weighed in at 118 pounds.    As Cepero came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Alvino Navarra, and the three ringside judges are Luis Cruz, Federico Bracero and Alejandro Limas.  

Round 1: 

Cepero tries to step out of his opponents range.  Cepero sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Tio finds the target with a jab.  
Tio tries to land a cross, but Cepero blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Tio gets on the inside and lands a sharp left hook.  
Tio pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Cepero's ribcage.  
Tio gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cepero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Tio tries to land a right hook, but Cepero blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cepero is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Tio connects with a cross.  
Tio lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Cepero steps to the outside.  Tio lands a cross.  
Tio closes the distance.  Cepero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Tio lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Tio clinches his opponent.  Tio is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Tio to stop fouling.  
Tio pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Cepero steps away from his opponent and hits home with an overhand left.  
Tio lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Tio quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Cepero sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Tio lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tio sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cepero throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Cepero tries to keep the action at long range.  Tio hits home with a cross.  
Tio sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cepero hits home with a cross.

Tio closes the distance and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Tio ties up his opponent.  Tio tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cepero behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Tio to stop fouling.  
Tio lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Tio lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Tio closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tio lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cepero is on target with a cross.  
Tio is on target with a left hook.  
Tio is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Tio manouvers Cepero into the corner.  Tio lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tio lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Tio is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Tio holds on to his opponent.  Tio uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cepero behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Tio to stop fouling.  
Tio advances into close range and manages to force Cepero onto the ropes.  Tio connects with a right hook.  Tio wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cepero dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Tio lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Tio throws a right uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Tio ties up his opponent.  Tio is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tio manages to force Cepero into a corner.  Tio lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Tio lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Cepero recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Tio lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Tio ties up his opponent.  Tio is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cepero's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Cepero's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
