James De Leon vs Mason Cerdan

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Bell Centre, Montreal,  taking place on 02/04/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are James De Leon (22(9) - 1(1)) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Mason Cerdan(6(1) - 2) from Laval, Canada.  Both De Leon and Cerdan weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Mabon, and the three ringside judges are Neville Bazil, Sid Leys and Louis Gillespie.  

Round 1: 

De Leon is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  De Leon tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
