Sajid Lotfi vs Rehman Aziz

Boxing Daily Report from the Yarjanyan Promotions promoted show at Ahmed Salam Gym, Alexandria,  taking place on 18/02/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Alexandria Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sajid Lotfi (8(6) - 0) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Rehman Aziz(7 - 9 - 3) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Both Lotfi and Aziz weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Allam, and the three ringside judges are Rehan Elaraby, Asif Abdelnour and Mohsin Bahri.  

Round 1: 

Lotfi lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Lotfi is looking to close the distance and walks Aziz onto the ropes.  Lotfi digs in a left hook to Aziz's ribs.  
Lotfi lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lotfi throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Lotfi clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Lotfi pushes his forearm into Aziz's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lotfi about fouling.

Lotfi closes the distance.  Lotfi pivots to the left of his opponent.  Lotfi throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Lotfi clinches his opponent.  Lotfi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lotfi closes the distance.  Lotfi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Aziz throws a left hook, but Lotfi holds on to his opponent.  Lotfi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Lotfi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lotfi lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Lotfi ties up his opponent.  Lotfi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Lotfi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lotfi lands a FEARSOME left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE AZIZ WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Aziz almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lotfi walks Aziz down, trapping him in a corner.  Lotfi lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lotfi pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Aziz's body.  
Lotfi lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Lotfi strikes his opponents body with a jab.  Lotfi attempts to land a jab, but Aziz sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Lotfi gets on the inside.  Lotfi pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Lotfi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Lotfi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Lotfi closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Lotfi lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lotfi digs in a sharp left uppercut to Aziz's liver.  
Lotfi connects with a spiteful right hook.  AZIZ IS HURT!  Aziz recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Aziz's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Aziz's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Aziz's trainer is passing on some tactical advice. Lotfi EXPLODES a spiteful cross into his opponents face.  AZIZ WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Aziz almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lotfi lands with a stiff jab.  
Lotfi steps inside and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Lotfi forces Aziz to back into the ropes.  Lotfi is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Lotfi tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Lotfi steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Lotfi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Lotfi tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Lotfi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Lotfi manouvers Aziz onto the ropes.  Lotfi pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Lotfi digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lotfi hits home with a left uppercut.  
Aziz advances into close range.  Lotfi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Lotfi knows Aziz is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Lotfi lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head, AND DROPS AZIZ TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Lotfi!
