Esteban Blandon vs Colin Witherow

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Schneider Arena, Providence,  taking place on 22/02/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Esteban Blandon (19(9) - 0) who hails from San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic and Colin Witherow(22 - 11 - 2) from Allentown, USA.  Blandon weighed in at 112 pounds, while Witherow weighed in at 111 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cole Levingston, and the three ringside judges are David Bellillo, John Montoya and Malcolm Littlejohn.  

Round 1:

Blandon senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Blandon lands a nasty cross.  DOWN GOES WITHEROW!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  It looks like Witherow has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Blandon is looking to keep his distance and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Witherow switches the action to the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Blandon steps to the outside.  Blandon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Blandon is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Blandon feints a jab, tricking Witherow into throwing a right hook counter.  Blandon springs the trap and counters with  a FEROCIOUS right uppercut.  WITHEROW IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT WITHEROW IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Blandon!
