Fumio Shimizu vs Mikio Wada

Boxing Daily Report from the Muntari Promotions promoted show at Muntari Gym, Shizuoka,  taking place on 24/02/2039:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Shizuoka Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fumio Shimizu (7 - 10 - 3) who hails from Hamamatsu, Japan and Mikio Wada(9 - 8 - 1) from Hamamatsu, Japan.  Both Shimizu and Wada weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aki Ogata, and the three ringside judges are Hisao Kawano, Takeo Nishihara and Kazuhiko Kawata.  

Round 1: 

Shimizu sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Wada connects with a right uppercut.  
Wada hits home with a right uppercut.  
Wada is on target with a cross.  
Shimizu tries to step out of his opponents range.  Wada throws an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shimizu's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Wada's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
