Cris Melgarejo vs Quico Terrones

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at Monterrey Durazo, Monterrey,  taking place on 24/02/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cris Melgarejo (21 - 15(1) - 6) who hails from Monterrey, Mexico and Quico Terrones(16 - 19(1) - 5) from Monterrey, Mexico.  Melgarejo weighed in at 108 pounds, while Terrones weighed in at 107 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Edmundo Cruz, and the three ringside judges are Juan Velasquez, Baltasar Salome and Rodrigo Salamanca.  

Round 1: 

Melgarejo steps inside and lands a right uppercut.  
Melgarejo connects with a right hook.  
Melgarejo is looking to keep his distance.  Terrones sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Melgarejo lands an overhand left.  
Terrones is looking to close the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Melgarejo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Melgarejo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Melgarejo feints a left hook, and then hits home with a cross.  
Terrones steps inside and tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Melgarejo switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Terrones slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Melgarejo steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Melgarejo's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Terrones's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
