Shinji Okino vs Takeo Koike

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Yuichi Kawashima Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 25/02/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shinji Okino (8 - 9 - 2) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Takeo Koike(10 - 16(1) - 2) from Tokyo, Japan.  Okino weighed in at 125 pounds And 10 ounces, while Koike weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michi Uyehara, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Sasaki, Satoshi Sakai and Kenji Sera.  

Round 1: 

Koike closes the distance.  Koike connects with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Koike dabs at his face checking for damage.
