Santiago Muro vs Alejandro Almas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Jax Lusco Gym, Tlalnepantla,  taking place on 27/02/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Mexico State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Muro (12 - 14 - 6) who hails from Ecatepec, Mexico and Alejandro Almas(16 - 27(1) - 5) from Ecatepec, Mexico.  Muro weighed in at 139 pounds And 13 ounces, while Almas weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dario Gaona, and the three ringside judges are Lisandro Mancilla, Jerrold Sepeda and Jose Sibal.

Almas gets on the inside.  Muro pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.

Almas closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Almas throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Muro time to recover.
