Rex Kirikiri vs Isaac Sterling

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkoloma Promotions promoted show at Waitakere Mahauariki, Waitakere,  taking place on 02/03/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Kirikiri (13 - 9(1) - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Isaac Sterling(6 - 3 - 5) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Kirikiri weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces, while Sterling weighed in at 117 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Opi Ngaikiha, and the three ringside judges are Justin Kahukakanui, George Brain and Brin Stackpole.  

Round 1: 

Kirikiri throws a right hook, but Sterling clinches his opponent.  Sterling uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Kirikiri's kidney. Sterling is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Kirikiri is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kirikiri switches the action to the outside.  Sterling lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kirikiri throws a left uppercut, but Sterling ties up his opponent.  Sterling is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Sterling is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Sterling and breaks the clinch.  
Sterling gets on the inside.  Kirikiri throws a left hook, but Sterling clinches his opponent.  Sterling leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kirikiri's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kirikiri's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
