Lloyd Wadle vs Oliver Thom

Boxing Daily Report from the We Can Hit Boxing promoted show at HRC Arena, Columbia,  taking place on 26/03/2039:

Clearly We Can Hit Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Lloyd Wadle (0 - 0) who hails from Lexington, USA and Oliver Thom(0 - 2 - 1) from New York City, USA.  Both Wadle and Thom weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Buyers, and the three ringside judges are John Baines, Johnny Meyrick and Dan Yates.  

Round 1: 

Wadle is looking to close the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Wadle dabs at his face checking for damage.  Wadle has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Wadle steps inside and is on target with a firm right uppercut to Thom's ribcage.  
Wadle digs in a firm right hook to Thom's body.  
Wadle closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Wadle ties up his opponent.  Wadle leans on his opponent using all his weight. Wadle pushes his forearm into Thom's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Wadle lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Wadle clinches his opponent.  Wadle leans on his opponent using all his weight. Wadle is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wadle lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Wadle is on target with a firm right hook to Thom's body.  Wadle clinches his opponent.  Wadle pushes his forearm into Thom's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Wadle advances into close range.  Wadle sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Thom throws a left hook, but Wadle clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Wadle pushes his forearm into Thom's face.  The referee warns Wadle and breaks the clinch.  
Wadle lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Thom hits home with a left hook.  
Thom attempts to land a cross, but Wadle sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Wadle lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Wadle is looking to force the stoppage!  Wadle lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND SENDS THOM SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Thom advances into close range.  Wadle digs in a telling left hook to his opponents ribs.  THOM IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  It looks like Thom has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Thom's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Thom's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Thom's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Wadle slams a nasty right hook into Thom's body.  THOM IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  Wadle ties up his opponent.  Wadle leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Wadle uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Thom behind the head. Wadle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Thom's kidney. 
Wadle lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Wadle drives a right hook into Thom's body.  Wadle clinches his opponent.  Wadle pushes his forearm into Thom's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Wadle to stop fouling.  
Wadle is on target with a forceful right hook to his opponents ribs.  THOM IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Wadle digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Wadle ties up his opponent.  Wadle leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wadle is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Wadle drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Wadle ties up his opponent.  Wadle is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Wadle's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Wadle lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wadle lands a cross to his opponents body.  
Wadle sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Thom tries to land a left hook, but Wadle sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Wadle lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.

Wadle steps inside.  Wadle sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right hook to Thom's body.  
Wadle lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND DROPS THOM!  He manages to get up at 4.  Thom recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Thom gets on the inside and manages to force Wadle onto the ropes.  Wadle lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Wadle clinches his opponent.  Wadle leans on his opponent using all his weight. Wadle pushes his forearm into Thom's face.  The referee warns Wadle and breaks the clinch.

Wadle lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Wadle slams a nasty right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE THOM WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Thom almost instantly recovers. 
Wadle lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Wadle ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Wadle stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Wadle lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, DROPPING THOM TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Wadle lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS THOM TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Wadle!
