Shaun Hird vs Floyd Allison

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Colorado promoted show at Denver Rennick, Denver,  taking place on 05/03/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shaun Hird (1 - 7) who hails from Aurora, USA and Floyd Allison(3 - 4 - 1) from Colorado Springs, USA.  Both Hird and Allison weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Declan Patterson, and the three ringside judges are Alen Greenlaw, Chris Duncan and Wayne Bardsley.  

Round 1: 

Hird steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Hird sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Allison is on target with a cross.  
Allison manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Hird lands a jab.  
Allison sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Allison connects with an overhand left.  
Allison drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Hird hits home with a cross.  
Hird steps inside.  Allison wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hird dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hird's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Allison's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
