Matthew Prowell vs Mark Zapata

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Florida promoted show at Hialeah Chirino, Hialeah,  taking place on 05/03/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Florida Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matthew Prowell (6 - 16 - 4) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Mark Zapata(4 - 11(1) - 3) from Pembroke Pines, USA.  Prowell weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces, while Zapata weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vince Wood, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Guffy, Paul Bason and Mark Swain.  

Round 1: 

Prowell is looking to close the distance.  Zapata pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  As Zapata tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Prowell dabs at his face checking for damage.
