Ryo Violante vs Ian Gower

Boxing Daily Report from the PitBulls Promotions promoted show at HSBC Arena, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 14/05/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Americas Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SporTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ryo Violante (25(15) - 4 - 1) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Ian Gower(24(6) - 9(6) - 1) from Spanish Town, Jamaica.  Violante weighed in at 154 pounds, while Gower weighed in at 153 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Esteban Pena, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Freitas, Venacio Reveles and Quiqui Carneiro.
