Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Cairo promoted show at Cairo Taha, Cairo,  taking place on 13/03/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aftab Ishak (21 - 14(2) - 7) who hails from Cairo, Egypt and Mohsin Nafti(18(10) - 0) from Suez, Egypt.  Ishak weighed in at 159 pounds and 12 ounces, while Nafti weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gazi Ashamallah, and the three ringside judges are Shayan Abdelghany, Tariq Deeb and Waleed Ashraf.  

Round 1: 

Nafti steps inside.  Nafti pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nafti drives a telling left hook into his opponents body.  ISHAK IS HURT!  Nafti clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Ishak recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Nafti manouvers Ishak into a corner.  Nafti pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Nafti quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nafti is on target with a firm right hook.  Nafti ties up his opponent.  Nafti pushes his forearm into Ishak's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nafti about fouling.  
Nafti is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Nafti drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Ishak lands a cross.  
Nafti is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Nafti forces Ishak to back into the ropes.  Nafti lands a right hook.  
Nafti gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Nafti holds on to his opponent.  Nafti leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nafti sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a solid right hook.  
Nafti sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Nafti senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Ishak and just needs the right shot.  Nafti slams a mean right hook into his opponents body.  DOWN GOES ISHAK!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Ishak tries to step out of his opponents range.  Nafti lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DROPS ISHAK!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Ishak has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Nafti is looking to close the distance and digs in a telling left hook to Ishak's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE ISHAK WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Nafti sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Nafti drives a potent right uppercut into his opponents body.  ISHAK IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ishak's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Nafti lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Nafti ties up his opponent.  Nafti throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Ishak throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.
