Kenzie Aitken vs John Sterling

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Dan Hilson Gym, Rockford,  taking place on 14/03/2039:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kenzie Aitken (5 - 5(1) - 3) who hails from Chicago, USA and John Sterling(21 - 6 - 1) from Chicago, USA.  Both Aitken and Sterling weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alen Valentine, and the three ringside judges are Ethan Bukowski, Kyle Cron and Dave Maddox.  

Round 1: 

Aitken connects with an overhand left.  
Sterling voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Aitken tries to tag Sterling on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!
