Akil Merkondar vs Akil Gumber

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Tamil Nadu promoted show at Hemant Chacko Gym, Chennai,  taking place on 24/03/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Tamil Nadu Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Akil Merkondar (1 - 10 - 2) who hails from Chennai, India and Akil Gumber(23 - 10(3)) from Chennai, India.  Both Merkondar and Gumber weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ananth Takshak, and the three ringside judges are Amer Meskin, Girish Mehra and Jyotish Narra.
