Tugdual Brunet vs Luc Girardot

Boxing Daily Report from the Gbedema Promotions promoted show at Garoua Bernanos, Garoua,  taking place on 27/03/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Cameroon-Nord Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tugdual Brunet (19 - 16(3) - 5) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Luc Girardot(11(5) - 1(1) - 1) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Brunet weighed in at 198 pounds And 10 ounces, while Girardot weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ferrand Kweuke, and the three ringside judges are Javier Feutmba, Bayard Delahaye and Emmanuel Biyik.  

Round 1:

Girardot pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a solid left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Brunet dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Girardot cuts off the ring, trapping Brunet in the corner.  Girardot hits home with a hard jab.  
Girardot pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!
