Gianfranco Pozzo vs Mauro Ripa

Boxing Daily Report from the Gyan Promotions promoted show at Adolfo Secchia Gym, Catania,  taking place on 27/03/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gianfranco Pozzo (23 - 13 - 4) who hails from Catania, Italy and Mauro Ripa(3 - 7 - 2) from Messina, Italy.  Pozzo weighed in at 134 pounds And 13 ounces, while Ripa weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leonardo Bartolini, and the three ringside judges are Vicenzo Strano, Antonio Gallico and Nico Scagni.
