Vicenzo Di Santo vs Remo Poli

Boxing Daily Report from the Sikatana Promotions promoted show at Antonio Schettini Gym, Messina,  taking place on 27/03/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicenzo Di Santo (7 - 9 - 3) who hails from Palermo, Italy and Remo Poli(20 - 14(2) - 5) from Messina, Italy.  Di Santo weighed in at 200 pounds, while Poli weighed in at 200 pounds and 13 ounces.    As Poli came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Giorgio Lamberti, and the three ringside judges are Nico Scagni, Cristiano Donadoni and Fabrizio Bernacchi.

Di Santo pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Poli's body.

Di Santo forces Poli to retreat into a corner.  As Di Santo tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Poli has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
