Montego Lasam vs Jax Fletes

Boxing Daily Report from the Luipa Promotions promoted show at San Jose del Monte Galas, San Jose del Monte,  taking place on 02/04/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Bulacan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montego Lasam (14 - 23 - 8) who hails from Malolos, Philippines and Jax Fletes(23 - 14 - 5) from Santa Maria, Philippines.  Lasam weighed in at 147 pounds, while Fletes weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tajo Pozos, and the three ringside judges are Alano Berra, Berto Layumas and Alejandro Unabia.  

Round 1: 

Fletes closes the distance.  Lasam pivots from in front of his opponent.  Fletes lands a right hook.  
Fletes closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Fletes attempts to land a cross, but Lasam sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Fletes goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Lasam time to recover.  
Fletes connects with a right hook.  
Fletes steps inside and walks his opponent into a corner.  Fletes sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Lasam's ribs.  
Fletes sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  Lasam wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fletes dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lasam's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Lasam's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Lasam pivots to the right of his opponent.  Lasam drives a right hook into Fletes's ribcage.  Lasam attempts to land a left uppercut, but Fletes blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Fletes manages to force Lasam onto the ropes.  Fletes lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Lasam pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Lasam steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Fletes gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.
