Gonzalo Gonzalez vs Ignado Verdin

Boxing Daily Report from the Joram Promotions promoted show at Nicandro Bea Gym, Montevideo,  taking place on 03/04/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uruguay-Montevideo Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gonzalo Gonzalez (3 - 9 - 2) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Ignado Verdin(7 - 5(1) - 4) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Gonzalez weighed in at 108 pounds, while Verdin weighed in at 108 pounds and 10 ounces.    As Verdin came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Diego Chirinos, and the three ringside judges are Iago Ramon, Manuel Santos and Pablo Mesquita.

Gonzalez throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Gonzalez clinches his opponent.  Verdin uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Gonzalez's kidney. The ref breaks Gonzalez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Verdin attempts to land a cross, but Gonzalez sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Verdin's body.
