Avel Matula vs Bohdan Dragan

Boxing Daily Report from the Hagopyan Promotions promoted show at Yakiv Bayuk Gym, Donetsk,  taking place on 05/04/2039:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ukraine-Donetsk Oblast Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Avel Matula (7 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Horlivka, Ukraine and Bohdan Dragan(14 - 4 - 2) from Mariupol, Ukraine.  Both Matula and Dragan weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zernebog Walek, and the three ringside judges are Taras Bayuk, Volodymyr Rafalko and Mikhail Pyzik.  

Round 1: 

Matula advances into close range.  Dragan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Dragan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Dragan throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Matula steps inside.  Dragan pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.

Dragan wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Matula dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Matula.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Matula steps inside.  Dragan pivots from in front of his opponent.  Dragan attempts to land a left hook, but Matula blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
