Bruce Dickson vs Barry MacDonald

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at House of Blues, Boston,  taking place on 21/05/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Massachusetts Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bruce Dickson (18(10) - 1) who hails from Lowell, USA and Barry MacDonald(25 - 15(3) - 1) from Worcester, USA.  Both Dickson and MacDonald weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hassan Quadri, and the three ringside judges are Denton Malone, Mark Smith and Hassan Quadri.  

Round 1: 

MacDonald connects with a cross.  
Dickson is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a stinging cross.

MacDonald closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Dickson ties up his opponent.  Dickson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

MacDonald forces Dickson to back into the red corner.  MacDonald digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
MacDonald advances into close range.  Dickson tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Dickson's liver.  
Dickson hits home with a left hook.  
MacDonald connects with an overhand left.

Dickson lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS MACDONALD TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like MacDonald has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
