Darryl Hettrick vs Amon Platt

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Alberta promoted show at Gregor Condie Gym, Calgary,  taking place on 17/04/2039:

Clearly AI Canada-Alberta have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darryl Hettrick (9 - 12 - 3) who hails from Edmonton, Canada and Amon Platt(3 - 17(1) - 2) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Hettrick and Platt weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Theo Kimmons, and the three ringside judges are Rob Spade, Amon Adie and Joe Dinwiddie.  

Round 1: 

Platt tries to keep the action at long range.  Hettrick sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Platt throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Hettrick's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
