Arthur Nicholson vs Rob Gorrie

Boxing Daily Report from the VictoryBoxing promoted show at Mississauga Jefferson, Mississauga,  taking place on 20/04/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada-Ontario Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arthur Nicholson (8 - 7(1) - 5) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Rob Gorrie(28(4) - 12(1) - 1) from Ottawa, Canada.  Both Nicholson and Gorrie weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Weatherley, and the three ringside judges are Charles Moss, Richard Amiot and Josh Watson.  

Round 1: 

Gorrie tries to step out of his opponents range.  Nicholson feints a cross, and then throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Nicholson lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Nicholson sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gorrie is on target with a cross.  
Gorrie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.  
Nicholson throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Gorrie's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Gorrie steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Gorrie tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Nicholson closes the distance.  Gorrie lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Gorrie steps away from his opponent.  Gorrie drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Nicholson lands a jab.  
Gorrie steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Gorrie lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Gorrie gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Gorrie hits home with a left hook.  As Gorrie tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nicholson dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Nicholson.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.  
Nicholson steps to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Gorrie steps away from his opponent.  Nicholson sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gorrie finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Gorrie steps inside.  Nicholson sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gorrie lands a left hook.
