Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 07/05/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Vitali Bagan (3(2) - 0) who hails from Kharkiv, Ukraine and Antwan Hillhouse(11 - 26(1) - 4) from Edmonton, Canada.  Both Bagan and Hillhouse weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cable Halimi, and the three ringside judges are Destin Dauphin, Launcelot Rozenthal and Simon Barra.  

Round 1: 

Bagan closes the distance and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Bagan holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Bagan pushes his forearm into Hillhouse's face.  The referee warns Bagan and breaks the clinch.

Hillhouse throws a right uppercut, but Bagan clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Bagan pushes his forearm into Hillhouse's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Bagan.

Bagan advances into close range and is on target with a solid left hook to Hillhouse's body.  
Bagan lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Hillhouse quickly recovers. 
Hillhouse is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hillhouse's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Hillhouse's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Hillhouse's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Bagan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hillhouse quickly recovers. 
Bagan closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bagan pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Bagan is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Bagan holds on to his opponent.  Bagan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bagan forces Hillhouse to retreat into the corner.  Bagan lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS HILLHOUSE!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Hillhouse quickly recovers.

He then lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES HILLHOUSE!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Hillhouse has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Bagan senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Bagan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS HILLHOUSE TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Bagan!
