Fraser Laxa vs Diego Mingo

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at SM MOA Arena, Manila,  taking place on 21/05/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fraser Laxa (30(27) - 3(3)) who hails from Taguig, Philippines and Diego Mingo(30(2) - 8(1) - 1) from Mandaue, Philippines.  Both Laxa and Mingo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ignado Rota, and the three ringside judges are Larenzo Benito, Daniel Magtubo and Fausto Bugayong.  

Round 1: 

Laxa advances into close range and lands two right hook's to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Mingo quickly recovers. 
Laxa advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Laxa connects with a right uppercut.  
Laxa walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Mingo goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Laxa to the neutral corner.  He warns Mingo to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.  
Laxa throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Laxa attempts to land a left uppercut, but Mingo slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Laxa tries to land a jab, but Mingo sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Laxa is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Laxa pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Mingo tries to land a left hook, but Laxa slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mingo throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Laxa's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Laxa sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Laxa lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Laxa ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Laxa pushes his forearm into Mingo's face.  The referee warns Laxa and breaks the clinch.  
Mingo attempts to land a right hook, but Laxa blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Laxa lands a sharp cross.  
Laxa advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Laxa holds on to his opponent.  Laxa leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Laxa gets on the inside.  Mingo throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Laxa advances into close range and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Mingo attempts to land a left hook, but Laxa sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Laxa manouvers Mingo into the corner.  Laxa connects with a stinging right hook.  
Laxa is looking to keep his distance.  Laxa feints a left hook, but Mingo does not fall for it and is on target with a cross.  
Laxa steps inside and is on target with a firm right uppercut to Mingo's ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mingo's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Laxa lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  Laxa clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Laxa's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Laxa is looking to close the distance.  Mingo is on target with a left hook.  Mingo tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to Mingo's ribs.  
Mingo tries to keep the action at long range.  Laxa lands a jab.  
Laxa pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mingo tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mingo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Laxa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Mingo attempts to land a jab, but Laxa parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Laxa is on target with a cross.  
Laxa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a jab to the head and a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Laxa advances into close range.  Laxa sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Laxa crashes a spiteful left uppercut to Mingo's ribs.  MINGO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Laxa lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND DOWN GOES MINGO!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Laxa walks Mingo onto the ropes.  Laxa sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Laxa lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND MINGO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Laxa!
