Alfonso Machado vs Fanuco Calix

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Fiergs Centro de Eventos, Porto Alegre,  taking place on 25/06/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Brazil Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alfonso Machado (17(13) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Fanuco Calix(18(15) - 0 - 1) from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Machado weighed in at 246 pounds and 13 ounces, while Calix weighed in at 243 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Oleos Gabriel, and the three ringside judges are Seferino Pinho, Olindo Gabriel and Joaquin Silvas.
