John Gitaa vs Sam Rop

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Kaikai, Nairobi,  taking place on 26/04/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Gitaa (4 - 4 - 3) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Sam Rop(8 - 4 - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Gitaa and Rop weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Gatheru, and the three ringside judges are Scott Merande, Stuart Lone and Sam Waiyaki.  

Round 1: 

Rop is on target with a cross.  
Gitaa steps inside.  Gitaa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Rop's body.  
Gitaa forces Rop to retreat onto the ropes.  Gitaa sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Gitaa closes the distance and forces Rop to retreat into the red corner.  Gitaa attempts to land a left uppercut, but Rop parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Gitaa pivots to the left of his opponent.  Gitaa goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Rop to the neutral corner.  He threatens Gitaa with a point deduction if he keeps fouling.  
Gitaa lands a right hook.  
Rop throws a right uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Rop ties up his opponent.  Gitaa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Rop pushes his forearm into Gitaa's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gitaa closes the distance.  Rop connects with a right hook.  
Gitaa lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Gitaa lands a right hook.  
Rop pivots from in front of his opponent.  Gitaa connects with a cross.  
Rop switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Rop pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Gitaa sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rop hits home with a cross.  
Gitaa steps inside.  Rop lands a double left hook to his opponents head.
