Matt Sear vs Sid McGuire

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stanford Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 18/06/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matt the Grill Sear (29(22) - 0) who hails from Atlanta, USA and Sid McGuire(14(4) - 1) from Boston, USA.  Both Sear and McGuire weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Gourley, and the three ringside judges are Blake Green, Richie Burnes and Michael Pride.  

Round 1: 

Sear is on target with a spiteful jab.  Sear attempts to land a cross, but McGuire dodges the shot and counters with a firm cross.

It looks like McGuire has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
