Jamie Mulligan vs Kong Ning

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Wimbledon Centre Court, London,  taking place on 20/05/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jamie Mulligan (13(11) - 0) who hails from Swindon, UK and Kong Ning(33(19) - 26(21) - 1) from Isfahan, Iran.  Both Mulligan and Ning weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is William Evans, and the three ringside judges are Dom Pullar, Colin Kendrick and Jonathan McCluney.  

Round 1: 

Mulligan pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Ning is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Mulligan connects with a sharp cross.  Mulligan attempts to land a jab, but Ning sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Ning advances into close range.  Mulligan lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ning forces Mulligan to back into the ropes.  Mulligan tries to land a right hook, but Ning dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Mulligan's body.  
Mulligan steps to the outside and lands a ramrod jab.  
Ning steps inside.  Mulligan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ning is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ning lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Ning attempts to land a left hook, but Mulligan blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.

Ning gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Mulligan on the ropes.  Ning digs in a right uppercut to Mulligan's ribcage.  Ning attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Mulligan time to recover.  
Ning advances into close range.  Mulligan lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Ning lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ning sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Ning is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mulligan is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Mulligan hits home with a cross.  
Mulligan lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Ning is on target with a cross.  
Ning gets on the inside.  Mulligan digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ning is looking to close the distance.  Mulligan pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a right hook into Ning's ribcage.  
Mulligan is on target with a jab.

Ning steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Mulligan steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mulligan tries to keep the action at long range and lands a sharp cross.  Mulligan attempts to land a jab, but Ning slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ning advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Ning steps inside.  Mulligan lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Ning has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Mulligan lands with a ramrod jab.  
Mulligan lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ning steps inside.  Mulligan pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ning lands a right hook.

Ning attempts to land a left hook, but Mulligan dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mulligan steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mulligan tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Some sustained pressure from Mulligan could be enough to finish Ning!  Mulligan lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS NING SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Mulligan lands two right hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES NING!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Mulligan!
