Takeshi Koizumi vs Jiro Okimoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Carabetian Promotions promoted show at Kyoto Maekawa, Kyoto,  taking place on 30/04/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Kyoto Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Takeshi Koizumi (13(2) - 8(1)) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Jiro Okimoto(14 - 14 - 3) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Koizumi and Okimoto weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jiro Tominaga, and the three ringside judges are Eiji Kato, Dai Oye and Kazuhiko Ozawa.  

Round 1: 

Okimoto pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Koizumi steps inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Koizumi throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
