Ian McQuilkin vs Paul Coulter

Boxing Daily Report from the Najjemba Promotions promoted show at Raleigh Corse, Raleigh,  taking place on 05/05/2039:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian McQuilkin (11 - 16(5) - 4) who hails from Raleigh, USA and Paul Coulter(25 - 4(2) - 1) from Raleigh, USA.  McQuilkin weighed in at 168 pounds, while Coulter weighed in at 167 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Felix Hughes, and the three ringside judges are Steven Bainum, Dale Jones and Robert Samuel.  

Round 1: 

Coulter is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Coulter advances into close range and forces McQuilkin to retreat into a corner.  Coulter lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
McQuilkin switches the action to the outside.  Coulter lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Coulter lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Coulter lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Coulter drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  McQuilkin wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Coulter dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Coulter lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Coulter manages to force McQuilkin into the corner.  Coulter hits home with a right uppercut.

Coulter is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to McQuilkin's ribs.

Coulter is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Coulter lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Coulter pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Coulter steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Coulter quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.

Coulter closes the distance.  Coulter pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
It looks like McQuilkin has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Coulter lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Coulter sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Coulter steps inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Coulter sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Coulter whips in a hurtful left hook to McQuilkin's liver.  MCQUILKIN IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  
McQuilkin now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
McQuilkin lands a cross.  
Coulter steps inside.  Coulter sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Coulter quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
McQuilkin steps away from his opponent.  Coulter sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a solid cross.  
Coulter manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Coulter pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a cross to the body.
