Carlos Leon vs Macario Jerez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Lara promoted show at Barquisimeto Buendia, Barquisimeto,  taking place on 12/05/2039:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Lara Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Leon (11 - 10(1) - 5) who hails from Barquisimeto, Venezuela and Macario Jerez(7 - 11 - 6) from Barquisimeto, Venezuela.  Leon weighed in at 126 pounds, while Jerez weighed in at 125 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hernan Pecha, and the three ringside judges are Montel Miera, Iago Padilla and Gervasio Peno.
