Joe Marn vs Yago Bermudes

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Bell Centre, Montreal,  taking place on 05/08/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Super Channel, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joe Marn (30(23) - 3(2)) who hails from Saskatoon, Canada and Yago Bermudes(24(6) - 14(2)) from Los Alcarrizos, Dominican Republic.  Both Marn and Bermudes weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Briant Sarraute, and the three ringside judges are Brendan Aitken, Mark Mostyn and Destin Dauphin.  

Round 1: 

Bermudes steps inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Marn steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Bermudes is on target with a sharp cross.  
Marn lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Marn sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bermudes is on target with a jab.  
Bermudes steps inside.  Marn lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Bermudes almost instantly recovers. 
Bermudes walks Marn onto the ropes.  Bermudes hits home with a right hook.  
Bermudes lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Marn connects with a cross.  
Marn is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Marn tries to land a right uppercut, but Bermudes slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Bermudes pivots to the side of his opponent.  Marn drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Marn throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Bermudes gets on the inside.  Marn is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Marn switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Bermudes gets on the inside.  Marn is on target with a sharp right hook to Bermudes's body.  
Marn steps to the outside.  Bermudes sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Marn lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Bermudes advances into close range and drives a left hook into Marn's body.  
Marn is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Marn lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Bermudes steps inside and walks Marn onto the ropes.  Bermudes tries to land a right hook, but Marn sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Marn digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Marn steps to the outside and is on target with a firm cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Marn's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Bermudes's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Bermudes's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Marn tries to keep the action at long range.  Bermudes attempts to land a cross, but Marn blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Marn lands with a ramrod jab.  
Marn lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bermudes throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Marn lands a cross.  Marn attempts to land a jab, but Bermudes dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Bermudes walks Marn onto the ropes.  Marn lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Marn lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Marn switches the action to the outside.  Bermudes lands a stinging jab.  
Bermudes advances into close range.  Marn pivots to the right of his opponent.  Marn throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Marn is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a nasty cross.  BERMUDES WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Marn is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Marn lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Marn lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND BERMUDES IS DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Marn!
