Ingelbert Stofan vs Ross Carlin

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at City Academy Centre, Bristol,  taking place on 08/05/2039:

Clearly Ringside Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ingelbert Stofan (2(2) - 1) who hails from Essen, Germany and Ross Carlin(15 - 11(3) - 4) from Brest, France.  Both Stofan and Carlin weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David McCrae, and the three ringside judges are Sammy Lockey, Brendan Beddoe and Lloyd Mahaffy.  

Round 1: 

Carlin steps away from his opponent.  Stofan feints a cross, tricking Carlin into countering with a left hook.  Stofan avoids the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Stofan steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Stofan closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Stofan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Stofan holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Stofan pushes his forearm into Carlin's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Stofan throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Stofan clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Stofan pushes his forearm into Carlin's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Stofan lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Stofan gets on the inside and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Carlin tries to keep the action at long range.  Stofan is on target with a cross to Carlin's body.  
Stofan advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Stofan clinches his opponent.  Stofan leans on his opponent using all his weight. Stofan pushes his forearm into Carlin's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Stofan about fouling.  
Stofan advances into close range.  Carlin sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Carlin throws a right hook, but Stofan clinches his opponent.  Stofan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Stofan lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Carlin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Stofan is on target with a left hook to Carlin's body.  
Carlin attempts to land a right hook, but Stofan sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Stofan lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Stofan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a solid cross.  
Stofan feints a left, and then lands a stinging left hook.  
Stofan steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Carlin lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Stofan lands a straight 1 - 2.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Carlin's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Carlin's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Carlin's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Round 2: 

Stofan closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stofan forces Carlin to retreat onto the ropes.  Stofan lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Stofan throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Stofan ties up his opponent.  Stofan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Carlin's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Stofan lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Stofan lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Carlin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Stofan closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND CARLIN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Carlin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Stofan advances into close range.  Stofan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Stofan forces Carlin to back into the ropes.  Stofan lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Stofan lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES CARLIN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  
Stofan is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Stofan ties up his opponent.  Stofan leans on his opponent using all his weight. Stofan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Stofan throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Stofan lands a solid left hook.  
Stofan steps inside and lands a solid left hook.  
Stofan lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Stofan closes the distance and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Carlin's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Carlin switches the action to the outside.  Carlin lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Stofan lands a stinging overhand right.  
Stofan advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut to Carlin's body.  
Carlin tries to step out of his opponents range.  Stofan hits home with an overhand right.  
Stofan advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Stofan digs in a left uppercut to Carlin's liver.  
Carlin tries to keep the action at long range.  Stofan lands a spiteful jab.  
Stofan steps inside and walks his opponent into a corner.  Stofan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Stofan connects with a left uppercut.  Stofan holds on to his opponent.  Stofan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Stofan uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Carlin behind the head.

Stofan is looking to close the distance and lands two left uppercut's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Stofan holds on to his opponent.  Stofan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Stofan lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS CARLIN DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Stofan feints a cross, fooling Carlin into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Stofan avoids the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Stofan closes the distance and slams a hurtful right hook into his opponents ribcage.  CARLIN IS HURT!  Carlin quickly recovers.

Carlin steps to the outside.  Stofan lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Stofan steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Carlin on the ropes.  Stofan throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Stofan ties up his opponent.  Stofan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Stofan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Stofan about fouling.  
Stofan throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Stofan ties up his opponent.  Stofan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Stofan to stop holding.  
Stofan lands a stinging right hook.  
Stofan advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Stofan digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Stofan closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Stofan is on target with a HUGE right hook.  CARLIN IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Stofan!
