Ulises Avitia vs Berto Medrano

Boxing Daily Report from the Majola Promotions promoted show at Córdoba Olivar, Córdoba,  taking place on 15/05/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Argentina-Córdoba Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ulises Avitia (16 - 15(1) - 3) who hails from Córdoba, Argentina and Berto Medrano(6 - 2) from Córdoba, Argentina.  Both Avitia and Medrano weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ignado Galano, and the three ringside judges are Oro Sabedra, Pancho Castrillo and Alfonso Echevarria.  

Round 1: 

Medrano drives a right uppercut into Avitia's body.  Medrano ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Medrano pushes his forearm into Avitia's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
