Akil Patel vs Mandip Balasubramani

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Tamil Nadu promoted show at Hemant Chacko Gym, Chennai,  taking place on 18/05/2039:

Clearly AI India-Tamil Nadu have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Tamil Nadu Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Akil Patel (20 - 15 - 2) who hails from Chennai, India and Mandip Balasubramani(6 - 21(1) - 5) from Chennai, India.  Patel weighed in at 160 pounds and 12 ounces, while Balasubramani weighed in at 160 pounds.    As Patel came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Girish Mehra, and the three ringside judges are Amer Meskin, Chiranjeevi Gulati and Ananth Takshak.
