Nemesio Gimenez vs Carlos Diaz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Atlantico promoted show at Barranquilla Gallegos, Barranquilla,  taking place on 19/05/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Atlantico Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nemesio Gimenez (14(1) - 1) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Carlos Diaz(26 - 14(1)) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Gimenez weighed in at 135 pounds And 9 ounces, while Diaz weighed in at 135 pounds.    As Gimenez came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Rio Aristizabal, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Milan, Cris Ferrin and Ignado Cobian.
