Artemus Vassallo vs Teofile Mate

Boxing Daily Report from the Dorkenoo Promotions promoted show at Erebus Zervos Gym, Athens,  taking place on 23/05/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Greece-Attica Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Artemus Vassallo (11 - 18(4) - 4) who hails from Athens, Greece and Teofile Mate(4 - 9 - 1) from Athens, Greece.  Both Vassallo and Mate weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arion Kappas, and the three ringside judges are Adonis Vassallo, Krikor Manella and Kuirilr Roussos.  

Round 1: 

As Mate tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Vassallo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mate switches the action to the outside.  Vassallo lands a cross.  
Mate connects with a left hook.  
Mate lands a double jab to his opponents head.
