Cipriano Barrero vs Alvino Armijo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at Gimnasio Gabelo Conejo, San Jose,  taking place on 25/05/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Costa Rica-San Jose Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cipriano Barrero (16(15) - 5(3) - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Alvino Armijo(26(4) - 18(1) - 2) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Barrero weighed in at 147 pounds, while Armijo weighed in at 147 pounds and 8 ounces.    As Armijo came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.
