Valentino Fisichella vs Fausto Saporito

Boxing Daily Report from the Mankattah Promotions promoted show at Turin Catania, Turin,  taking place on 25/05/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Piedmont Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Valentino Fisichella (2 - 8 - 1) who hails from Turin, Italy and Fausto Saporito(19 - 11(1) - 4) from Turin, Italy.  Fisichella weighed in at 107 pounds And 11 ounces, while Saporito weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlo Grifone, and the three ringside judges are Liberatore Alasia, Dino Santella and Fabio Rauti.  

Round 1: 

Saporito closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Saporito tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Fisichella is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Fisichella feints a right hook, and then is on target with an overhand right.

Saporito wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Fisichella has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
