Nicandro Prieto vs Frisco Avelino

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Mexico City Tejeda, Mexico City,  taking place on 27/05/2039:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Distrito Federal Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicandro Prieto (6 - 8(1) - 4) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Frisco Avelino(5 - 4 - 6) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Both Prieto and Avelino weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Lusco, and the three ringside judges are Frisco Olivar, Senon Piedrahita and Guillermo Montez.  

Round 1: 

Prieto retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Avelino accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Prieto.  Avelino connects with a left hook.

Prieto tries to step out of his opponents range.  Prieto throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Avelino time to recover.  
Avelino is looking to close the distance.  Prieto wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Avelino dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Avelino attempts to land a right hook, but Prieto parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
