Jun Okubo vs Shinji Kuno

Boxing Daily Report from the MisMatchRoom Promotions promoted show at Kenji Obi Gym, Fukuyama,  taking place on 22/05/2039:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jun Okubo (2 - 0) who hails from Akashi, Japan and Shinji Kuno(1 - 2) from Yokohama, Japan.  Okubo weighed in at 122 pounds, while Kuno weighed in at 121 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nori Oye, and the three ringside judges are Taro Mayeda, Satoru Nishimoto and Yoshi Kawakami.  

Round 1: 

Okubo tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Okubo closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.

Kuno steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Okubo is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  Okubo clinches his opponent.  Okubo uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Kuno's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Okubo.
